Ao no Exorcist & AnoHana Sound Effects!

Right so yesterday and today I compiled a couple of sound effects from Ao no Exorcist and AnoHana. Unless you do fandubs, or audiodramas or podcasts or any audio-related projects like I do, you might not find much use for them. I originally posted this for my fandubbing friends, and I thought I may as well post them here. They are in zipped folders and generally include footsteps, ethereal whooshes, a few comedic and vehicle noises as well as misc SFX as well.

[C] CONTROL: The Money of Soul and Possibility 06 – Conflict

THE RAPTURE HAS COM---wait what.

「Conflict (葛藤)」 (Kattou)

The above caption joke would have been relevant if I were able to post this yesterday, but oh well. If you’ve been wondering why I haven’t posted much recently, long story short: hiatus + huge college deadline. I’ve still had the time for anime though…just not writing about it. [C] is sometimes a chore to watch. Not because it’s boring, but because my laptop can’t handle 720p videos all to well, and GGSubs don’t cater to 480p viewers. So I usually have to be lucky that my laptop will run the damn episode with out it lagging. This is a problem with AnoHana and Ao no Exorcist too. In any case, where we are at the half-way point in the series of [C] and I’ve realized that even up until now there’s been a lot of learning going on as opposed stuff actually happening. Of course, that is not to say that stuff doesn’t happen, but every episode we’re learning something new. With that in mind… Read the rest of this entry

Deadman Wonderand 06 – Hummingbird

Today, we deal with this psychotic bitch.

“Hamingu Bādo” (ハミング・バード)

All this talk and nonsense about the rapture aside, I AM BACK. If but for a short while. I’ve got a big college deadline coming up this Wednesday, so I need to work on that first. Let’s just say that I need to record a live band cover of Love Song, record my original piano solo piece, AND create a song on Logic Pro and find a vocalist for it and record her vocals, ALL BY WEDNESDAY. I haven’t done any recording. Yeaaah. But anyway, I decided I should at least come back and write for the halfway point in the series that I’m (supposed to be) blogging. Or in Ao no Exorcist‘s case, quarter-way point. Read the rest of this entry

[PSP] Grand Knights History

Grand Knghts History

So, I recently caught wind of Vanillaware‘s upcoming game. It’s called Grand Knights History which will be an JRPG for the PSP. I’ve never played Muramasa, but I did purchase Odin Sphere a few months ago and I still haven’t gotten past Gwendolyn’s story (which is like…the first one). GrimGrimoire slipped by me, because I never saw it in any shops here in London. That tends to happen with RPGs that aren’t Final Fantasy or Star Ocean. This game will have a traditional turn-based system, unlike Odin Sphere and Muramasa, which were both action-RPGs. Read the rest of this entry

PROJECT: Eternal Genesis: The Radioplay (revival)

Eternal Genesis: The Radioplay

I know many of you don’t even know what Eternal Genesis is, but don’t worry; I’m here to enlighten you. In 2007 I started writing a story for my own RPG of sorts. It took me a while to come up with something that didn’t involve dungeons and dragons, and legends and chosen ones, and crystals. Then I armed myself with RPG Maker XP and started creating this thing. It went through many restarts and hiatuses due to time and memory losses and stuff. In June 2009, I started up an audiodrama adaptation of the story which is featured on YouTube and the Voice Acting Alliance. With the amazing voice talent from members of the Voice Acting Alliance (including myself), and my hard work at mixing all the audio, nine chapters of the radioplay have been released so far, with the last release being the 8th July 2010. Since then it’s been on an indefinite hiatus. UP UNTIL NOW, OF COURSE. Read the rest of this entry
