Kamisama Dolls 13 – Kyouhei, The Seki [END]

No, not even this truly happened in this episode.

“Kuga Kyouhei, The Seki”

I can’t help but feel that the ending to this show was a little worthwhile. It’s gonna be a short post because I have an anime backlog I don’t want. This post is particularly a week late because of Freshers Week, which I briefly mentioned on my NOTICE bar (top of the sidebar). Pretty much partied and raved all week. ANYHOO. Fall 2011 Line Up!

Right, it’s time to do this line-up post for the fall season for 2011. As I look at the list of anime being aired, it’s got a number of sequels and remakes, along with quite a large number of original shows. Also, I’ve got InstraClassic back on the site. 2 seasons ago, he provided his first impressions on IS: Infinite Stratos.

As usual, I’ll start with whatever shows that are being covered on the site, then the shows I am personally watching, and then the shows I am checking out. Read the rest of this entry

Deadman Wonderland: Rats in a Cage

DeadmanWonderland_title

“Despite all my rage, I’m still just a rat in a cage.” – Smashing Pumpkins

This pretty much sums up what I got out of the Spring 2011 anime, Deadman Wonderland. Every episode was set up to make the viewer look upon every worthwhile character and see just how much despair and hopelessness they could possibly experience. Even I had at least one moment of physical cringing, confirming that this anime was doing something right. Of course, when needed, there would be a 5-7 minute flashback justifying why said character was so, for lack of a better descriptor, fucked up. Regardless of justification, the characters (and even the plot itself) continue to run around like rats in a cage, never really going anywhere but down.

Sacred Seven 01 – Awakening of the Stone

OH HAI MEGAMAN ZX.

Oh hey there, Megaman ZX.

「イシの目覚め」 (Ishi no Mezame)
“Awakening of the Stone”

I have a bunch of tweets that could sum up my thoughts of this episode, so I’m just gonna combine them all and create this post. What we have here is a original anime by Sunrise. On the surface it looks like a high school mecha shounen. A lot of people have been comparing this to Star Driver which isn’t fair. To me, Star Driver wasn’t even shounen. In any case, let’s get this post underway. Read the rest of this entry

The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya [English Fandub]

The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya

This isn’t my fandub. A friend of mine, Missack spent over 100 hours making this. I give her massive respect for her hard work on getting this complete. It’s a full English fandub of The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya movie. It features a great cast from the Voice Acting Alliance (VAA) community, and spot on sound mixing from Missack herself. I know some people are little wary about fandubs, but I ask that you give this a chance, since this is some real great work from all the cast members.

It’s featured on YouTube and you can find all the parts HERE.

Koe de Oshigoto! OVA 01 – A Hentai That’s Not A Hentai [NSFW]

Are you prepared?

I haven’t blogged in days. So many episodes kept coming out quickly and I generally just haven’t had the time to blog. So anyway, Koe de Oshigoto. I have no idea where the anime came from all of sudden, so I thought I’d check it out. I went in without reading the synopsis. I was UNPREPARED. Oh, and this blog post may as well be NSFW.
