I’m quite speechless at the ending to be honest. I have mixed feelings about the ending. Part of me says that it was amazing ending to the series, and part of me says that the ending could have gone another route. But hey, Puella Magi Madoka Magica turned out to be one of the best anime series in recent memory. Read the rest of this entry
I’m dropping Steins;Gate coverage for a number of reasons.
1) Steins;Gate is becoming a chore to write about and I don’t understand the show as well as I should do.
2) Time. Now that I’m a writer at Mon0r, I would need sometime to come up with and write stuff for that site too, though I won’t be doing episodics on that site or anything.
3) Further on the time thing, college is coming back soon and well, there’s some work that needs to get done before that happens, otherwise no university for me D;
4) Another reason, that I just forgot.
I am still watching the show, mind you, but I’m just not blogging it anymore.
“Dead Man Walking”
Ah, this post is rather late. Been pretty busy with that thing called a social life. I forget I have that sometimes. In any case, I’ve been pretty pumped for this show, just by the synopsis alone. I think we have a pyschological thriller/horror show on our hands here. We’re gonna deal with injustice, violence, death, abuse, massacres, anxiety. Damn, for a show set in a theme park, this show looks like it’s going to be pretty gruesome. And I was told it was going to be a one cour show. NO. I don’t think it’ll be enough. I read up on a lot of the background behind Deadman Wonderland, and well…shit is going to go DOWN. I’m not too familar with Manglobe‘s history with doing sequels, but if they gave The World God Only Knows a second season, they should probably do the same for this show too, because I don’t think I would want to see this go down the anime ending path (unless otherwise they make it a good one). 「悪魔は人の心に棲む」 (Akuma wa Hito no Kokoro ni Sumu)
“Demons Live in the Human Heart”
For some reason, I felt right at home whilst I was watching this. I don’t know what is was. Maybe it was due to the fact that we had Nobuhiko Okamoto and Jun Fukuyama playing two of the main roles? Maybe it’s because I haven’t seen a single female main character in the show (yet?). Who knows? But hell, did I enjoy the first episode of Ao no Exorcist. Airing a bit late compared to the other shows. Whilst I’m blogging the first episode of this show now, I’ll be blogging the THIRD episode of STEINS;GATE show on Tuesday. Read the rest of this entry
Now, I was really looking forward to this show based on the descriptions I’d been reading. I downplayed the claims that it was just “Shakugan no Shana with guns,” hoping for an interesting show. What I got was a fairly generic re-hash of over-used stereotypes. The show in itself isn’t bad; it’s just more of the same. I’ll try and be nice, but I was a bit disappointed. Whilst I was wasting my time doing that Denpa Onna image post, and watching Britain’s Got Talent, I also just found out that an old friend of mine passed away from cancer this morning, so I really don’t even wanna write this post right now, but I’ma do it anyway. Right, so an orignal anime, that has the theme of money, financial troubles, potential gambling, and risks. Not a concept you see everyday in anime, so that’s why I decided to cover this show. I watch this episode RAW first. I haven’t watched a RAW since Umineko no Naku Koro ni. NOTE: The majority of this post was written under the nyan.
No, I’m not blogging this show. Though it is a show I’m watching. Somehow I managed to take 24 screencaps of this show, which is strange since I’m not even covering it. But here’s a couple of shots I took, just for kicks. Read the rest of this entry
「時間跳躍のパラノイア」 (Jikan Chouyaku no Paranoia)
“Time Travel Paranoia”
I found this episode to be more entertaining than the first. I understood things a lot better this time round, even though a few things are still being foreshadowed. Still, the plot seems to be moving forward. In this episode, we’re all introduced to some new characters, though they’re nothing we haven’t seen before. Read the rest of this entry
A while ago I posted another Kore wa Zombie fandub that I did. You can find it here. This is the second and final Kore wa Zombie fandub that I’ve done. I actually finished this last week, but I totally forgot to post it here until now. In this scene from Episode 4, Ayumu, Sera and Haruna band together to fight against a gigantic flying whale Megalo.

I think the finale to FREEZING was rather decent. Like Yumekui Merry, this was another finale that I watched on my huge widescreen TV. I’m glad Cathy wasn’t the final boss of the show, otherwise that would have been disappointing. Other than Satella settling an old fight, I don’t see why the fight with Cathy was so prominent.
